The first installment of a three-part, two channel installation that re-imagines Black people’s power within the universe through an Afro-futuristic lens. Part 1 explores the climate crisis which escalated on the planet Auma 5,000 years ago which affected the human-like inhabitants, known as Aum, and the planet’s fauna. Some Aum ultimately leave to scout out other habitable planets.
